14 basketball clubs raise themselves through Alcem-se Esport

Since Juan Roig decided to create 'Alcem-se Esport' and donate 4 million euros of his personal assets to promote and recover the sports ecosystem of the province of Valencia devastated by DANA, Valencia Basket joined the Trinidad Alfonso Foundation to collaborate in the objective of this direct and final aid plan, which has been none other than to accelerate the return to sporting normality in the affected localities and contribute to ensuring that sport does not have to start from scratch.

Within this initiative, Valencia Basket has been directly in charge of aid to the affected basketball clubs. In this way, there are numerous entities that have benefited from the receipt of new sports equipment and aid for travel and rental of courts where they can continue with the activity.

Once the last deliveries of material have been completed, 14 clubs in the affected towns have received the aid. The Valencia Basket staff, accompanied by the Club's Director of External Relations, Víctor Luengo, has traveled town by town to deliver the material to all the beneficiaries.

Valencia Basket will also invite the 14 aforementioned clubs to a match at La Fonteta, so they will be able to enjoy a top-level match in a historic year, before going on to play at the Roig Arena.
